Supermarket Mat
Let’s Go Shopping
One day, I went to the supermarket with my father as we had to buy household items. It was Sunday and usually, there is a rush in the supermarket, but we had to buy the necessary things for our home. It was tiring to first pick up all the items and stand in the long queue for the billing. After the billing was done, we went back home.
We ate our lunch and sat to watch the television. My father asked me if I wanted to play with Musky. I said yes! He asked me to bring the supermarket mat. My mother and sister too joined in. We started playing and my parents kept asking me and my sister many questions related to the supermarket. They also told us many things about supermarkets, how calculations are done, percentage profit, and more. It was fun, and we learned a lot.
Had a great time playing with your cute little learning buddy, Musky? Check if you can answer these questions.

Teachers Note
The mat is designed to make children learn about fruits, vegetables and edible items. Teachers can make kids learn the names of items that we get to see when we visit any grocery store or supermarket.
Teachers can assign an amount (tokens/fake money) to kids and ask them to use it in the supermarket while playing the game. Depending upon the age, children can be asked to write the sum in the copies and do the addition as they attempt to buy any product by moving Musky to that block. It’s a cool gamified way to teach children addition and subtraction and money management when we go out shopping in the supermarket.
