Discover your Amazing Body!
As we entered our classroom yesterday, we saw our teacher already waiting for us. On the blackboard was a well-drawn picture of a human body. The teacher asked if anyone knew what we were going to learn about today. All of us made different guesses, but the teacher informed us that we would be learning about body parts. A friend of mine mentioned that his mother asks him about his eyes, ears, nose, and toes. The teacher confirmed that those are all body parts and began to discuss different body parts and their functions. The students listened attentively.
After returning home and having dinner, I asked my brother about the different body parts we had learned about in class. My brother was able to answer some questions but then suggested playing with Musky to learn more. Excited, we began to play with the Musky kit, making it move around and learn more about the human body. It was a fun and engaging activity for both of us.
Did you enjoy playing with your cute little learning buddy, Musky? Check if you can answer these questions:
Q1. Which body parts are in pairs?
Q2. Which body part helps us in hearing?
Q3. What are the five senses?
Q4. How many teeth do we have?
Q5. Move Musky to the tongue block and tell your friends what do we use tongue for?

Teachers Note
The concept of body parts is an essential aspect of early childhood education. In the classroom setting, the teacher can show a human body chart and pointing at each body part, the function of each can be discussed. Teacher can also talk about five sense organs, body parts that are in pairs, private parts and more. By learning about the different body parts, children can understand how their bodies work and develop a sense of self-awareness.
A rhyme on body parts can be played and children can be asked to enact pointing out different body parts.
