Fruits Mat
Give a hoot, and eat more fruit!
It was a sunny day, and my mother decided to prepare a scrumptious mixed fruit salad for our family. She called me to help her by fetching various fruits from the refrigerator and washing them clean. I was delighted to assist my mother in any way I could, and I happily got to work.
As my mother began to peel and chop the fruits, she started quizzing me about their names. I knew some of them, but there were a few that I couldn’t recall. My mother then asked me to list all the fruits that I knew, but I struggled to remember all of them.
Just then, my mother had a brilliant idea. She asked me to fetch my Musky Kit, which I had received as a gift from my uncle on my birthday. I was thrilled and quickly brought it along with the fruit-themed mat.
Once my mother finished preparing the delicious salad, my father and sister joined in, and we all gathered around the mat. Using Musky, we learned about different fruits, their names, and their nutritional values. My parents even showed us how to cut and slice the fruits properly and safely.
Playing with Musky was not only educational but also enjoyable. We laughed, joked, and had a great time while learning about healthy eating and proper nutrition.

Teachers Note
Play way is the best time for children to learn basic concepts. At this stage, the retention and recall span of the child can be improved with the help of teaching aids like Musky. The teachers can bring real-life things into the class and ask students to identify the fruits, how they taste, what their colors are, which among them are the citrus fruits, etc. Learning about fruits can also promote language development, as children learn new words and improve their vocabulary. Additionally, it can also help them to identify different colors, shapes, and sizes, which can enhance their cognitive and motor skills.
